In science, we are learning about the meaning of science and different types of scientists. The students were able to pick what kind of scientists they would like to be and explain why. We also asked questions about the world around us.
The children are very excited to be doing some of their first science experiments this week! Mrs. Reguera's class did a lot of predicting before they conducted an experiment with apples.
Ms. Jones's class was curious to find out how many drops of water would fit onto the top of a penny. The children took turns using a new scientific tool, the dropper, to squeeze one drop of water at a time, onto their pennies.
Check out the fabulous work we have done as scientists!
